MIDDLETON- Dorothy Jeanne Simpson died on October 17, 2016. She was predeceased by her brother, Roy Simpson, Jr., her nephew, Michael Simpson and her dear friend, Anne Donahue.
Dorothy is survived by her nephew, Bret Simpson and his wife Tricia and their children, Katie, Jeanine and Robert of East Bridgewater, her niece, Donna Russell and her husband Barry and their children, Larissa and Tyler of Parkman, ME and her niece, Kathy Simpson of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by her dear friend of sixty years, Beverly Allen of Middleton.
Dorothy taught in Woodstock, VT and Greenfield, MA, before spending her last 31 years as a teacher and guidance counselor in the Lynnfield Schools.
All funeral services will be held privately. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Dorothy’s name to All Care Hospice, 210 Market St, Lynn, MA 01901.

I was a student at LHS and Miss Simpson was my favorite teacher. I always wanted to become a secretary and she was so supportive in my decision. I attended Katherine Gibbs in Boston and became a secretary at Raytheon in Burlington. I will always remember her as a special part of my high school memories.
