Anita M. Walecki

May 6, 1933 ~ November 4, 2016
Anita M. (Bolduc) Walecki, 83, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Waldemar F. Walecki, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Bouillon) Bolduc. Raised and educated in Danvers, she was a graduate of the former Holten High School.
Mrs. Walecki had been employed as an assembler by the former GTE Sylvania at their Sylvan St., Danvers facility for many years until the time of her retirement.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Anita had an engaging personality and people were naturally drawn to her. She endeared herself to many; whether you knew her for years or just met her, she made you feel as if you had always been a part of her life. Family was her greatest joy and she treasured the time she could spend with them. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she made throughout her life.
A lifelong Danvers resident, Anita was a member of Saint Richard Parish, a member of the Polish Club, and a longtime member of Sylvania’s bowling league.
She leaves her daughters, Julia-Anna Mazzarella and her husband Paul of Bolton, Khristina Marcheterre of Danvers, Janina Dyer and her husband Dave of North Hampton, NH, her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Garrison, and Gregory Marcheterre and Michael and William Cotton, her great-grandchild, Levi Cotton, her sisters, Lorraine Bernier, Jeannette Kasenenko, and Pauline Maloney, her sisters-in-law, Lois and Beverly Bolduc, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arlene Deutsch, Mary Jane Brozowski, Alice Campbell, Bertha Miller, Alphonse, Joseph, Donald, and Norman Bolduc, sister-in-law of the late Otylia Walecki, and mother-in-law of the late Michael Marcheterre.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at 10AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St, Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
