DANVERS- Anna Patricia Kirby, 88, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Winchester Hospital.
Born in Danvers on October 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Mullins) Kirby. A life-long resident of Danvers, she was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1946. Patricia went on to attend Burdett Business School. She had been employed as a secretary at the United Shoe Machinery Company before working for C.R. Lyons and Sons, Funeral Directors for several years. Patricia was a devoted mother and caregiver especially to her son, Michael Henry.
She is survived by her children, Michael Henry Kirby of Peabody and Anne Marie Innis and her husband Michael, two grandchildren James Michael and Matthew Kirby Innis. She was predeceased by her brother, William Kirby, Jr.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. Visitation will be held prior to the service Tuesday morning from 9AM-10:15AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Shore Elder Services, 300 Rosewood Dr Suite 200, Danvers, MA, 01923.

Patsy was my godmother and cousin who often took me to the beach in the summer and one summer she bought me a fancy bathing suit and I was thrilled.
She suffered greatly when her brother died and her parents died within a few years of his death.
