Dorothy A. (Parcher) Goudreau, 92, died early Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018. She was the wife of the late Henry C. Goudreau, who predeceased her in 2015. Born in Lynn on Aug. 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Louise Parcher. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a longtime Lynn resident. She had made her home in Danvers since 1994. For more than 25 years, Mrs. Goudreau worked at McDonald’s on Boston Street in Lynn. She was a longtime member of Saint Alban’s Church. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed bingo. She leaves three daughters, Michele Bowden and her husband William of Corona, CA, Carolee Hatch and her husband Kenneth of Beverly, and Darlene Lundy of North Andover, a son-in-law, Daniel Medina of New Jersey, her grandchildren, Linette, Bill Jr., Kristen, Theresa, Melanie, Meghan, Melissa, Emily, and Daniel, Jr., and her great-grandchildren, Joon, Vivien, and Lydia. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Medina, her son-in-law James Lundy, and her sister, Virginia Walsh. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-6PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Goudreau’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO BOX 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
