Doris L. (St. Laurent) Nolan, 86, died early Monday morning, March 5, 2018. She was the wife of the late William F. Nolan. Born in Salem on Oct. 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Tremblay) St. Laurent. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of the former Saint Joseph Academy. Until the time of her retirement, she owned and operated Atlantic Home Care. A longtime resident of Salem Willows, Doris resided in Ipswich for several years and Danvers in recent years. She leaves her children, Catherine Calderan of New Hampshire, Linda Potter of Florida, and William Nolan and his wife Amy of Danvers, a sister, Irene Fecteau of Florida, a brother, Donald St. Laurent of Maine, seven grandchildren, Rebecca Dixon, Tiffany Bettencourt, Nathaniel Potter, Courtney Marrotte, Kaitlin Perez, and Gavin and Tobin Nolan, four great-grandchildren, Cera, Mara, John, and Oliver, and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10AM in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
