Mrs. McCarthy I never had the pleasure to meet you. If I had, I would have told you what a tremendous son you have in Michael. Knowing children never naturally grow on the vine that way I know you were present and astute to guide and shape the man he has become. I send my tremendously heart felt condolences to your entire family and know with all my heart we shall meet again. With deep sincerity and love, Elaine E. Iagatta
We will never forget Janie! She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye! Always ready for a round of golf and an irish coffee! Love you Jane and will miss you always! God bless your family and watch over them during this didficult heartbreaking time. Bruno & Marlene Giri
There are so many precious memories of Jane that it is very difficult to pick only one, but if I have to I guess it would be the first St. Patrick’s Day party at Jane and Bernie’s house. We were having a wonderful time and then the guys started having Jamison shots and of course Jane came over to me and said come on Jackie we’re going to do it too, I said I don’t think I can and she said sure you can and she gave me a shot and she had a shot and down the hatch it went. We had several more after that and had a wonderful time. Loved Jane very, very much!

A beautiful soul. She will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers to her family.
Jane and Bernie came to The Villages in 2005 and we soon became friends through the Marine Corps League. Jane was very active and was the President of the Ladies Auxilary. Always full of energy and wit Jane and Bernie hosted a number of St. Patrick’s Day gatherings and were part of the SOSB (Senior on Spring Break Group) that traveled and played golf together. Jane was a very special lady, loved by all and she and Bernie were two of the most genuine people we have ever met. Our prayers go out to Bernie and the rest of the McCarthy Clan and we know Jane is at peace with God. They don’t make them like Jane anymore, she was one GREAT lady!!!
