  1. To my Dear Auntie Theresa,…. My most favorite Aunt of all time ! Even though you lived for most of your life in Florida the time you spent with me and my family was very precious to me. I have always had a special place in my heart for you. You and my Mother were like twins in my mind. As a child I recall how you would step in for my mother to care for us when you visited from Florida. You and you husband Mike were always so kind and attentive to our family and my Grandmother. This always made your visits a special event in our lives. You were also a woman ahead of your time and an amazing example of a successful career woman who literally worked her entire life, as you started your own business after retiring from your supervisor position at Bell South .Even when you lost the love of your life, Uncle Mike, you never allowed this event to define you. You never complained and just moved on as an independent person. Living in Florida at the Villages allowed you to make many new friends and connections. I know that my Mom always enjoyed visiting with you and taking part in all of the activities you were involved with. Your upbeat personality , positive outlook on life, and fierce independence as a widowed woman made you a shinning example to us all……
A wonderful Daughter,Sister,Wife, Friend and Aunt….Your life had true meaning to many people and you will be missed.

  2. Freddie and I enjoyed visiting with Aunt Theresa and Uncle Mike when they were in Hollywood Fl. We always had a great time visiting with Theresa when she came north for family gatherings. Theresa was a positive, fun, strong woman whom we will both remember fondly, and we will miss her.

  3. Auntie Theresa came to visit us in Tucson several times, once when we drove to Pasadena for the Rose Parade. This was before GPS and, because Aunt Theresa and Mike had taken many driving trips, she was the only one (besides me) in the car that could read a map! Aunt Theresa got the front seat and the map, guiding me through LA traffic to our hotel. She was always a lot of fun and game for an adventure. I know our whole family is thinking about Auntie Theresa and what a great sister and friend she was to our mother.
