DANVERS- Dolores Mariah (Nadeau) Ford, 88, passed away on May 28, 2018 at Putnam Farms in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Arthur P. Ford. Born in Mexico, Maine on July 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Medora (Samson) Nadeau. She was raised and educated in Lynn. Dolores moved to Danvers in the early 1970’s where she was active in the community and a member of Saint Richard Parish. Dolores was a highly recognized office manager at the United Way of Mass Bay in the Lynn and Peabody offices. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and sunsets on Fort Myers Beach. She was an avid Red Sox fan and was featured in the television promotional spot “Generations”. Her family was most important to her, and she was the beloved Nana to many. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Paul and Sharon McMahon of Montclair, VA and Dolores and Thom DeCoff of Danvers, five grandchildren, Julie Doyle and her husband, Peter, Jacqueline Soltero and her husband, Burt, Sean McMahon and his wife, Rochelle, Thomas DeCoff and Tiffany Tamilio and her husband Brenden, eight great grandchildren, Colin, Mairin, Jacksen, Luciana, Isabella, Mckenzie, Liam and Luke, and her former husband, Peter McMahon of Lynn. She was predeceased by her son, George “Bozie” McMahon. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolores’ name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.

  2. This is so bittersweet. Papa would be so proud that were chosen to be in a Red Sox commercial. I remember him watching the games all the time in Tunie and Thom’s patio. RIP Dolores, you are with your beloved Bozie and Papa. You will always be loved and greatly missed. XXX
