Raymond A. Rais

Raymond A. Rais, 66, died late Sunday evening, July 1, 2018 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers following a period of declining health.
Born in Boston on August 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Rais. He was raised and educated in Melrose, MA where he lived most of his life.
Ray was a finish carpenter and a proud member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #218.
He loved animals and had a great appreciation for architecture, engineering, and craftsmanship. He was sustained by his belief in and love of God.
He leaves two sons, Peter R. Rais and his wife Tatiana of Fall River and Matthew A. Rais of Brookline, three granddaughters, Ava, Ella, and Gina, and a sister, Raylene Spencer of Washington, MA. He was predeceased by a son, Anthony R. Rais.
His Funeral Service will be held graveside on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10AM in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited.
