Gary M. Lee

BEVERLY- Gary M. Lee, 67, passed away on September 5, 2018 in Essex Park Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born in Beverly on July 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Harold and E. Marie (McRae) Lee. Gary was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School in 1969. Besides working on a crab fishing boat in Alaska for a short time, Gary had a long career in construction. He was a member of the Local 22 Union and had worked for Ford, Bacon and Davis for many years. Gary also enjoyed music and loved to garden. Gary was the proud and devoted father of the late Rachal Marie Lee. He is survived by his sisters, Carol Lapointe of Beverly, Patricia Vatcher of Bonita Springs, FL, Jeanine MacCarthy of Beverly and Katherine Lee of Beverly, his aunt, Alice Doyle of Beverly, his former wife, Judith (St. Amand) Lee of Bradford, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great, great niece. He was predeceased by his siblings, Kevin Lee, Laurie Goodhue and Richard Lee. Gary’s family will receive friends and family from 4-7PM on Monday, September 10, 2018 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private.
