DANVERS- Jean-Pierre Denault, 67, passed away on November 12, 2018 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving husband of Michele Maurice with whom he shared twenty four years of marriage. Born on February 24, 1951 in Montréal, Quebec, he was raised in his home town of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Jean-Pierre graduated from University of Montreal in 1972. Since 1981, he had been employed at Gorton’s in Gloucester, where he retired as the chief financial officer in 2017. He had been a resident of Danvers since 1988 and became a United States citizen on December 2, 2004. Jean-Pierre was an antique car enthusiast and attended many car shows. In addition to his wife, Michele, he is survived by his son, Jacques M. Denault of Danvers, his father, Jean-Marie Denault of Quebec, his sisters, Ginette Lemire and her husband Richard of Woodbury, NY, as well as Lyse Denault of Quebec, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude (Hamel) Denault. His Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wadsworth Cemetery, Summer St., Danvers. His family will receive family and friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 9-10AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean-Pierre’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
