Madeline P. St. Laurent

Madeline P. (Wallace) St. Laurent, 92, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was the wife of the late Roger St. Laurent, who predeceased her in 1972. Born in Gloucester on Feb. 23, 1926, she was the last surviving of the seven children of the late Lester and Beatrice (Osier) Wallace. She was raised and educated in Rockport and was a graduate of Rockport High School. Mrs. St. Laurent was employed at the Friend Box Company for thirty-one years and had previously been employed at Sylvania. A longtime Danvers resident, she loved Keno and scratch tickets. She leaves three children, Roger St. Laurent of NH, Carol Anderson of NH, and Joyce Bachmann and her husband John of Peabody, her grandchildren, Ernie Belle Isle and his wife Sue, Daniel and Michael St. Laurent, Nicole Anderson, John Bachmann and his wife Kristin, and Jenelle Bachmann, three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Logan, and Bodie, and several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:30AM in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
