DANVERS- Ellen M. (Lally) Condon, 88, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2019 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Everett W. Condon. Born in Salem on May 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Aileen (Anglin) Lally. Ellen was raised and educated in Salem and graduated from Salem High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science from Salve Regina in Newport, RI in 1952, which was the second graduating class. Ellen had been a dietitian at Salem Hospital for over 30 years. She and her husband raised their family in Beverly, upon retirement they moved to Danvers. Ellen was active in the Danvers community. She had been a past member of the Danvers Garden Club and a volunteer and communicant of Saint Richard Parish. She enjoyed the beach, golfing, traveling and dinners out with friends and family. She also was an avid Boston sports fan. She is survived by her children, Stephen Condon of OR, Susan Hubbard and her husband, Bruce of Reading, Marybeth Condon of Danvers and Timothy Condon and his partner, Betsy Williams of Lynn, several grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her son, Patrick Condon and her siblings, Tom, Jane and Janet, Susan and Arthur. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Saint Richard, Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Ellen’s name to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA, 02452.
