Robert N. Hubbard

BYFIELD- Robert N. Hubbard, 94, passed away surrounded by his family on June 13, 2019. He was the husband of the late Marie (Coppola) Hubbard. Born in Lynn on June 20, 1924, he was the son of the late Catherine (Comeau) and John Hubbard. He served our country with the United States Army as part of the 421st Bombardment Squadron during WWII and was honorably discharged. Robert was a longtime Danvers resident. He and his wife had been members of the square dancing group, the Riverside Squares. Robert was also a faithful communicant of Saint Richard Parish. Robert had been employed with American Airlines for many years as a freight handler. He is survived by Robert Hubbard of FL, Donna Davis and her husband, Thomas of Byfield, Michael Hubbard of FL, David Hubbard and his wife, Patricia of Peabody, Diane Gallant and her husband, William of Ipswich and Linda Connors and her husband, Peter of Hamilton, his sister, Pauline Romano of Revere, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9:45-10:45AM on Tuesday at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
