Janice H. Guilford

Janice (Thompson) Guilford, of Danvers, died Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. Born in Beverly on March 22, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane (Woodman) Thompson. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1949 and lived most of her life in Lynn and Danvers. For twenty-seven years, Janice was employed at Union Hospital in Lynn, where she retired as a secretary in the Maintenance Department. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Diane LeBlanc of Quincy, a daughter, Nancy LeBlanc of Swampscott, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. At Janice’s request, services are private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the People-to-People Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2076, Danvers, MA 01923.
