Mike Doucette

DANVERS- Mike Doucette, 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2019 in Lahey Burlington. He was the loving husband of Raye (Weatherbee) Doucette with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Born in Lynn on August 26, 1946, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Eveleth) Doucette. Mike was raised and educated in Middleton. He went on to attend the Industrial Engineering Institute. He had been employed for thirty years as an engineer with Zoll Medical in Chelmsford. Mike enjoyed traveling, especially cruising with his wife, Raye. He also enjoyed gardening and antique cars. In addition to his wife, Raye, he is survived by three stepchildren and their spouses, Cindy and Bill Cianfrocca of Danvers, James and Theresa McPherson of Ossipee, NH and Rick and Maria McPherson of Danvers, eight grandchildren, John, Tara, Nicholas, Jessica, Emily, Jackson, James and Jared and two great grandchildren, Willow and Connor. His Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St., Danvers. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mike’s name to Sweet Paws Rescue, PO Box 752, Essex, MA 01929.
