I will always cherish those amazing Thanksgiving dinners with family every year when I was younger and the times we got to spend in St. Augustine year after year. Uncle Jim had the best laugh and he always knew what to say or do to make me smile. He will be forever missed. I plan to raise a glass in your honor at “happy hour” Uncle Jim ❤️
Dear Betty Jim, Kate and Megan our deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear Jim. We have many fond memories for all the years we met at the end of our driveways getting our mail or recycling bins having our chats on High Ridge Road. Where do the years go? Our children were just kids when we moved to Boxford and now they have children of their own. We fondly remember Jim forever smiling and kindness. Memories of those days we will carry in our hearts. Our love to you and your family. Donna and Peter Masucci
Betty,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, please know that Jim is resting comfortably in God’s arms. I’ll miss seeing that wonderful smile at Mass. Love, Charlotte Schilling
To Betty and your Family – It’s not often you meet somebody and become instant friends, but that sure happened with you and Jim. Maybe it was because we had a mutual affection for pepperoni/mushroom pizza, devotion to family, or that we were both Veteran’s, but the friendship was immediate and life lasting. We are so grateful Jim’s suffering has ended, and we can now relish in the fond memories of his humor and genuine caring for his fellow man. Via Con Dios my Friend.
Our Love to the Gomes Family,
Bill and Sheila Kennedy
Whether it was Thanksgiving gatherings, summer vacations in St. Augustine or the weekends where I visited Boxford during college, i enjoyed your lighthearted nature – always quick with a joke or prank. I will cherish those wonderful memories. We love you and will miss you Uncle Jim.
Dear Betty, I had hoped that I might personally express my sincere and deep sympathy as you and the family as you grieve your loss of Jim. I will miss Jim and our phone calls each year. This photo our “napping” on the concrete driveway on Plumstead Avenue in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania proves that we were truly “old” friends and it has a special meaning for me as people now post that Jim is resting comfortably and peacefully. I like to think that he is just taking a nap!
Love to you and the family,
Steve Adams

I was privileged to know and work with Jim at 3 different organizations . Jim was the epitome of a sales and marketing professional and befriended any and all who met him.
Fond memories of many a “working dinner” with Jim (prime rib end cut was his usual choice).
Jim never had a negative thing to say about anyone or indeed anything.
His laugh and smile with live on for all of us that were fortunate to know him.
