Stephen F. Ripley

DANVERS- Stephen F. Ripley, 75, passed away on April 1, 2020 in Hunt Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Ripley. Born in Maine on July 24, 1944, he was the son of the late Locksley and Ernestine Ripley and grandson of the late Henry and Gladys Ripley. Stephen served his country with the National Guard in Belfast, Maine. He later enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Virginia and Vietnam. While in Vietnam he served as a cook. He spent most of his life with his wife, Frances, in Woodbridge, Virginia prior to moving to Massachusetts. Stephen enjoyed playing cribbage with is sister, Arlene. He also enjoyed bingo and word searches. His family is especially grateful to the Care Dimensions staff and Hunt Nursing Home for their care given to Stephen. His funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
