My wonderful godmother…When I was younger, if I wasn’t home, I was at the Soucy house. I am lucky enough to have always lived close by to pop in an say hello, and be offered a snack and a drink, and the next thing you know I was napping on the couch, or 3 hours had gone by and my mom was calling to see where I was. Whenever I called I would get “Hello my darling girl!”, and whenever I was needed for “IT support” she would call me and say “I’m in trouble with this TV”. Mrs. Soucy (I never could bring myself to refer to her as Pat) and the “Big Guy” were another set of grandparents to me, and I am forever grateful I had them in my life. Love to all the family ❤️ Kara Leigh
Dear Cindy and family,
I was so sad to learn of Pat’s death.
I was so happy to reunite with her at Hathorne and began bringing her Holy Communion each Friday. Unfortunatel
y the isolation prevented me from visiting these last several months.
I so enjoyed our visits together. We would reminisce about growing up on Wadsworth St. And her years at Holten High with my husband Jim, Pete Duncan and other classmates.Jim and Pete are sure to have greeted her with
Open arms as she entered heaven.
“PATSY” was a warm and kind friend to me and many others. Know she always expressed her love for each of you and delighted in every moment she got to spend time with you.
I will miss her.

Hi All. I have many happy memories of when all of you were in school with my children. 😊. My most recent memory of Pat was when we would see each other at the Newburyport High School plays. My grandson was in several shows with AnnaKathryn. And Cindy would do all the beautiful artistry work. I would chat with your mother and discuss our grandchildren. A long time ago but beautiful memories. I am thinking of you all And I know you have a lot of wonderful memories also Love. Sandra Guinivan

So sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. She was a great friend at Hathorne to our mom. Mom is so sad and will miss her dearly. Sophie’s Family
I was sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I grew up across the street at #44 and I knew her as Patsy growing up. Later I watched the house being built and 4 children arriving. It was a loving family and she and Norm were good neighbors. Fond memories of going skating on the Meadow and sliding on barrel parts found behind Pete’s Garage! RIP Patsy.

I was so sorry and sadden to hear the news of Mrs. Soucy’s passing. I have incredibly fond memories of accompanying my sister Patti to Wadsworth Street. And oh did I love going! I was always so humbly welcomed by your mom who made us all feel like we were home. It was there where I learned how to dive into a swimming pool only to hear the excitement of Mrs. Soucy from above cheering me on. The endless winter days ice skating at the Meadows to once again be welcomed in for a cup of hot chocolate and a snack. Mrs. Soucy had an infectious smile and a genuine love for people. Simply put, she was a joy to be around. When I last saw her I was fortunate enough share how much I enjoyed my early childhood days at Wadworth Street and how much they truly meant to me. She was so very proud of you all and of course her beautiful grandchildren. Heaven gained an angel and one that will always have a very special place in my heart. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
