DANVERS- Margaret Grace (Cleary) Wright, 81, passed away on August 18th at home surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert J. Wright (Bob), with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Margaret "Peggy" was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 17th, 1939 to Herbert John Cleary and Catherine Mary (Enright) Cleary. Peggy was a very dedicated wife and mother, who was exceptionally devoted to her family. She enjoyed visits to the beach, the sun on her face, early morning chats with Bob, long walks, and spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy was probably happiest at home with her loved ones. She was extremely proud of her family - and seeing her children and grandchildren grow into adulthood brought her much joy. Peggy is survived by her four children, Ramona Henriquez and her husband Eddie of VA, Robert Wright of Salem, MA, Rebecca Murphy and her husband John of Marshfield, MA, and Rachel Wright-Provencher of ME, and was the “Granny” to five grandchildren, Brianna Henriquez, Cristian Henriquez. Jack Murphy, Amber Provencher and Abby Provencher. In addition, Peggy is survived by her sisters, Marie Cleary of KY, Jean Hickey of CA, and Joan Picariello of FL. In addition to her husband Bob, Peggy is predeceased by sister Judy Cleary, brother John Cleary, and son-in-law Eric Provencher. Her funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Peggy’s name to Care Dimensions Hospice Care, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923 https://www.caredimensions.org/

  1. Mrs. Wright was so proud of her 4 children (Rebecca, Ramona, Robert, and Rachel). She was also so proud of her grandchildren (Jack, Brianna, Cristian, Amber, and Abby) and watching them all grow up so well. She was probably happiest at home with family and a cup of tea.

Mr. and Mrs. Wright were married for 55 years and were a wonderful couple for almost 60 years. Along with my Dad, I take comfort that Mr. and Mrs. Wright are in a better place together, but we will all miss seeing them. Losing the Wrights so close in time is heartbreaking to their family and friends.

In closing, I simply want to say thank you as Mr. & Mrs. Wright welcomed me into their family as their son-in-law and taught me so much. One of the best ways that we can honor them in the days, weeks, months, and years to come is to pay their lessons forward. Rest in peace Mr. & Mrs. Wright.

  2. So many happy memories with Aunt Peggy during the summer of ‘79. Soft spoken, patient, and kind, I never felt homesick when she was by my side.

  3. My dear sister and friend, Peggy, I miss you already. So many memories of living in Cambridge, working at Employers Mutual of Wausau, family get togethers, summer trips to Revere Beach, and watching our children grow. I miss you! In later years, our long phone conversations. It saddens me that I can’t pick up the phone and call you. You and Bob were good people and good parents. Rest in peace! We will all join you some day.

    Love your sister, Jean
