I worked with Donna many years ago at Kappy’s and since then we had this inside joke going about Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. One of my favorite past times with her and will never be forgotten. Still unbelievable that she’s gone….my condolences to her family.
Donna was a wonderful mother and grandmother. My condolences and prayers are with you all as you grieve your loss.
A mother’s love is something
that no one can explain.
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain.
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may.
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away.
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking.
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking.
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns.
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems.
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation.
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation.
A many-splendored miracle
man cannot understand.
And another wondrous evidence
of God’s tender guiding hand.

“Children do not know how their parents love them and they never will till the grave closes over those parents or till they have children of their own.” ~Edmund Vance Cooke
A grandmother is a little bit parent, a little bit teacher, and a little bit best friend. The grandchildren were blessed to have Donna for a grandmother.

I only worked seasonally at Kappy’s during college, but have so many fond memories of Donna. I was always happy when I got to work a check out lane with he – she was so funny and caring. She will be missed. My sincere condolences to all.
I knew Donna as a customer of Kappy’s. She was always so kind and had a smile for you, even in the busiest times. I just learned today of her passing and am sad to know that it’s been 2 months already. I’m sorry for her loss. Sending thoughts and prayers to her family.
