Thomas P. Raymond

Thomas P. Raymond, 54, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. He was the husband of Denise E. Bean-Raymond, with whom he shared nineteen years of marriage.
Born in Salem on Oct. 20, 1966, he was the son of Paul T. Raymond of Salem and the late Rita (Martineau) Raymond. He was raised and educated in Beverly and had been a resident of Danvers since 2001.
Tom worked as a driver for the family oil business, Michaud & Raymond Oil, but his passion was helping others as a firefighter/EMT. Tom was a lieutenant on the Wenham Fire Department for many years and in recent years served on the Hamilton Fire Department. He also served as an E.M.T. for Action Ambulance.
Tom loved animals and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his wife and father, he leaves his sister, Linda Arnold and her husband Dan of Haverhill, his brother, David Raymond and his wife Kelly of Beverly, his nephew, Christopher Raymond of Beverly, his mother-in-law, Eleanor Bean of Danvers, and many beloved friends.
Funeral services were held privately for Tom’s family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
