Norma Anne Rideout

Norma Anne (LaBelle) Rideout, 87, formerly of Danvers, MA, Torrington, CT, Watertown, CT and Pompano Beach, FL, died Friday December 18, 2020 at Davis Place Extended Care in Danielson, CT. Born in Danvers, Norma was the daughter of the late Lester and Beatrice LaBelle. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Gerald Rideout, she was the loving mother to Jerry E. Rideout & his wife Anne of Chicopee, MA; Rhonda and her husband Paul Paradise of Woodstock CT; and Kimberly Rideout and her wife April Morrison of New Port Richey FL; 5 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law Patricia Arthur. Norma was predeceased by her sisters Frances E. Joyce, Mildred Speliotis and Janet Turlo. Norma loved her family, traveling, sitting in the sun, especially at the beach. She loved talking and hearing about family and friends and was always interested and proud of their goals and accomplishments. She had an unmatched spirit, one that enjoyed life no matter the issues or conditions, she was able to find joy. While living in Danvers she was active with friends in the "Club" and these ladies stayed connected throughout their lives. She would tell all to wear a mask! Visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Friday, April 30, 2021 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Attendees are kindly asked to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing. All other services are private.
