Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Annie, Alan and Roland, so very sorry to hear about your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Auntie Emma from when I was a small girl up to the present; I will always remember her laugh and smile. She truly was a pioneer and had an entrepreneur spirit that was ahead of her time. She always found ways to help people and to make a little pocket money: caring for people in her home, selling small gifts, creating her paintings, publishing her cookbooks and selling her delicious baked goods at the country store. She was the glue that connected all the family members together. Whenever we visited Massachusetts the first thing we did was get together with Auntie Emma and Roland. Her spirit touched so many lives that her presence will be sorely missed. The only comforting thought I have is knowing that she is up in heaven with her husband Butch, loving son Omar, sister Eleanor, brothers Tommy and Arthur and many other loved ones, winning at the big poker table in the sky! Her love will remain always in your hearts, and I hope that your memories help to bring you comfort and peace. All my love, thoughts and prayers,

    Susan Markarian-Poran
