Donald F. Noyes

Donald F. “Ducky” Noyes, Sr., 86, died Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home in Danvers. He was the loving husband of the late Eleanor R. (Salem) Noyes, with whom he shared fifty-two years of marriage.
Born in Haverhill on January 6, 1935, he was the son of the late Clifford and Helen (MacDonald) Noyes, Sr. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a 1952 graduate of Holten High School. He then served honorably in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
Ducky was employed for over thirty years as a route driver for West Lynn Creamery. In retirement, he worked for many years as a currier for Danvers Savings Bank.
Beloved by family, friends, and work colleagues alike, Ducky enjoyed his bowling and softball leagues, annual trips to Las Vegas, and time spent with his large extended family and his grand-dog, Cody.
He leaves two children, Donald F. Noyes, Jr. and his wife Angela of Beverly and Tracy Moore and her husband Thomas of Fort Fairfield, ME, his grandchildren, Adrianna Noyes-Solis and her husband Steven, and Tanner and his wife Ashleigh, Tristan, Thomas, and Tayden Moore, three great-grandchildren, Nova, Luna, and Sunny, two sisters, Marjorie Falkowski of Peabody and Sandra Reilly of Lynn, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his siblings Clifford “Oyster”, Harry, Robert, Richard, and Charles Noyes, Betty Skoniecki, and Carol Walsh.
Visiting hours are Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. Uncle Duckie was one of the best! I can still see him and Bob sitting on the picnic table, scratching every ticket the store had! Hopefully knowing that he is back with his favorite girl Auntie Ellie, will somehow make his loss a little easier to take. Rest In Peace, Uncle Duckie.
