Guestbook

  1. The tree recognizes by its fruits. We did not know Virginia but we know her daughter Patricia Thornton and we have no doubt that Pat derives her great human qualities largely from her mother… We can therefore say that Virginia was a great lady, a great mother with a great heart. May she rest in peace for eternity.

  2. Likewise we know Wynnie to be a wonderful, generous and kind soul who took such great care of her mother and everyone in their community. Rest In Peace, Ginny & Larry, knowing you have left this world a better place due to yourselves AND your 3 daughters

  3. Wynnie: You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers on this sad day today. But we are happy that she and Dr. Larry are together again. Watching her tribute video was so heartwarming! She was a smart, beautiful, interesting, loving lady and we treasure our memories of her. I still have her card thanking us for our friendship and love, especially when you were living in Baton Rouge. We are ever so thankful that God put you in our lives and please know we are here for you, and do plan to stay close. We love you so much! Bill and Linda Tindall

  4. What a wonderful God honoring service today. I was glad to be at the ceremony. Though I don’t think I actually met Virginia, after the service I feel i had! God bless your whole family.

  5. Mrs Thornton was our MYF advisor in the early 60’s she knew how to let kids have fun but making sure they were safe and in control at all times
