Robert C. Peach, Jr., 87, died Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Joan (Sauchuk) Peach and the longtime companion of the late Cynthia Davis. Born in Salem on April 3, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert and Alice (Zejewski) Peach, Sr. He was raised and educated in Marblehead and was a graduate of Burdett College in Lynn. A Danvers resident for more than fifty years, Bob was employed for many years at the Holyoke Mutual Insurance Company in Salem. An active member of the Polish Club in Danvers, Bob had served as auditor of the club. He was also a member of the Gerry No. 5 in Marblehead. He leaves three daughters, Linda Snow of Danvers, Kerri Breen and her husband Robert of Danvers, and Toni Woods of North Conway, NH, five grandchildren, Jason Snow, Kevin Snow and his partner Chris Hosman, Rachel Breen, Cassie Breen, and Marissa Breen, his siblings and their spouses, Betty and Robert Devlin, Nancy and Terrence Marks, Deborah and Charles Ball, and Donald and Thea Peach, several nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. At Bob’s request, funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970. Arrangements are by C.R.   1. I have such fond memories of Bob. My husband David Lord worked with Bob, at Mutual Fire Insurance Assoc. We used to go to company softball games when Bob pitched. His wife and I were in the same maternity ward when we had one of our children. She told a funny story that when she went into labor, she could not wake Bob up and drove herself to the hospital. Sadly, David is in a nursing home now with the end stages of dementia. He would be sad if he was aware of Bob’s passing. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Carol Lord
