Catherine Frances Connors

DANVERS- Catherine Frances (Dion) Connors, 85, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2021. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Connors. Born in Salem on November 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (McCarthy) Dion. She was raised and educated in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1954. Catherine had a long career as a secretary with the former Parker Bros. She was a talented artist and loved to paint. She also enjoyed traveling and adored animals. She is survived by her three children, Mary Connors Behringer and her husband, Mark of Rowley, Robert D. Connors of Danvers and Patrick D. Connors and his wife, Hillori of Topsfield, three grandchildren, Mark Behringer of Washington, D.C., Catherine and Anna Behringer of Rowley, her sister Laurien Fitzgerald of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Helene Dion and Mary Ann Whalen Spinale. At the request of the family her funeral services are private.
