Nancy E. Challis

Nancy E. (Greenlaw) Challis, 90, of Haverhill, died Oct. 28, 2021 at the New England Homes for the Deaf in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Stephen D. Challis, Jr. Born in Boston on Aug. 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Cora (Conley) Greenlaw. Mrs. Challis leaves six children, Stephen Challis, III, of Orleans MA, Nancy Baillargeon of Pawtucket RI, Jimmy Challis Gore of Baton Rouge LA, Lisa Conway, Arthur Challis, and Raymond Challis, all of Haverhill MA, 11 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TH 38105.
