Anita R. Ginsberg

DANVERS- Anita R. (Siegel) Ginsberg, 93, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Maurice “Morry” Ginsberg.
Born in Boston on November 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Raphel) Siegel. She was a bank teller at Salem Five for many years prior to her retirement. Anita had resided in West Peabody for several years prior to retiring to Lakeworth, Florida, where she spent 22 years. More recently she had lived in Danvers. Anita enjoyed playing cards and Rummikub. She especially enjoyed singing and was a true people person.
She is survived by her children, Charles Ginsberg of AZ, Neil Ginsberg and his wife, Cynthia of Peabody and Joyce Fortunato of Beverly, her granddaughter, Kimberly Ginsberg of Beverly, her sister, Irene Ginsburg and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Paul Fortunato and brother, Stanley Siegel.
Her funeral services will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Anita’s name to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. to 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA, 02452.

Dear Joyce,
Sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. She was such a good friend to my mother. Trying to keep them out of trouble, was no small feat! I will always remember her as such a bright light, willing to engage with one and all.
