Patricia A. (Bennett) Innis, 80, peacefully passed away following a lengthy illness on September 24, 2025 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Bruce H. Innis with whom they shared 58 years of marriage.
Pat was born in Newburyport on February 19, 1945, the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Watson) Bennett. She was raised in Ryal Side, Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School in 1964. Pat was a long-time resident of Ryal Side and enjoyed raising her family there.
Pat loved helping people and enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone. Pat was very active within her Beverly community. She had been a crossing guard and worked at the voting polls for many years. She also helped coordinate the high school class reunions.
In addition to her husband, Bruce, she is survived by her daughter, Lori Hebert, her son Bruce C. Innis and his wife, Lori, six grandchildren, Jeffery Hebert and his fiancé Angela Carroll (who had the pleasure of being her caretaker every day for the past 11 months), Shelby Hebert and her boyfriend, Gage Malone, Keith Hebert and his girlfriend, Acasha Baer, Craig Hebert, Teegan Innis and Marrion Innis, great grandchildren, Jaylyn Hebert, Ella Hebert and Colt Hebert, her sister Carol Woods, cousin Sandra Redding and best friend of over 75 years, Virginia (Thomas) Strople and many other dear friends and loved ones.
Pat will be truly missed by all.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private.
