Edward D. Ciesinski, 90, of Danvers, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Masconomet Rehabilitation Center in Topsfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (Duffy) Ciesinski.

Born in Salem on June 2, 1935, Ed was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Ciesinski. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1954, where he was later inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame for his achievements in both baseball and football.

He was also a member of the Danversport Yacht Club for more than 50 years and was an avid and passionate boater. 2. I’m sorry to hear of Ed’s passing but pray you are comforted in knowing he’s reunited with the love of his life, JoJo! I have many fond memories of our time together partying on the docks of DYC and gathering out at Misery Isl! Your parents/ grandparents were wonderful people who truly loved their boys. They’re in a much better place. Matt you all find peace in the beautiful memories you all created. 💔❤️

  3. With much sympathy to the family in the loss of Ed. We were members of DYC, with Ed and Jo , “back in the day”. We all could see the wonderful family Ed and Jo had. How lucky you all were! As Barbra Streisand sings “It’s the laughter we will remember”
