Faye (Graffam) Trask, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Danvers and Dunstable, Massachusetts, passed away on October 30, 2025, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Gardner S. Trask, Jr., for 42 years; he predeceased her in August 2004.
Born October 10, 1942, Faye was the daughter of Fred and Almena (Ready) Graffam. She grew up in Danvers and was a 1960 graduate of Holten High School, where she participated in the Baton Club and wrote for the school newspaper.
Over the years, Faye was employed at Putnam Pantry and at the Dunstable Town Hall. She was talented in knitting and needlework and was an award-winning quilter. She generously shared her love of crafts with others at Busy Bee Crafts in Westford. She also delighted in working with children during field trips to Apple Hill Farm in Dunstable, where she taught visitors about the orchard and helped them experience pressing fresh cider.
Faye is survived by her children and grandchildren: Gardner S. Trask, III and his wife, Patricia, of Danvers, and their children, Gardner IV and his wife Juliana, Lisa, and Julie (Trask) Panciocco and her husband Anthony; Heidi (Trask) Basik and her husband, Brian, of Fort Myers, Florida, and their children, Jessica (Nations) and her husband Matt, Alexis, and Christopher and his wife Lexi; Garth Trask and his wife, Mary, of Spring Lake, Michigan, and their children, Gabe, Drew, and Dane; and Dane Schlick-Trask and his wife, Kara, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and their children, Riley and Graham. She is also lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren. Faye and Gardner Jr. were also the parents of Christopher (deceased, 1969).
In addition to her husband, Faye was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Almena (Ready) Graffam; and by her siblings, Fred Graffam Jr., Dorothy Larocque, Margery Rowden, and Margaret Bahmer.
