Marilyn E. Rolfe

Marilyn E. Rolfe, of Danvers, age 77, died July 15, 2026 after a lengthy struggle with dementia.

Daughter of the late William and Florence (Barry) Rolfe), she was raised and educated in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School and Chandler School for Women.

She was employed at Massport for 42 years, serving in various capacities both at Castle Island and Logan Airport, finally serving for several decades at the State Police Barracks at Logan Airport.  She was a longtime volunteer at the Lahey Clinic in Peabody in the Ambulatory Surgical Unit.

She leaves a brother, John Rolfe of Stoneham and many friends, all of whom gave her comfort as her disease progressed.

Marilyn’s Funeral Service will be Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.  Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00-10:45AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.  To share a message of sympathy, please visit www.LyonsFuneral.com.
