Julie Spadorcia, 59, of Danvers. Our dear sister, sister-in-law, cherished aunt and great aunt, best friend, niece and cousin left this world way too soon on Wednesday July 22, 2026. She is reunited with her parents, Anthony and Joan. She has left a gaping hole in the lives of those that knew and loved her. Born the third of six children at Beverly hospital on March 11, 1967. She was a beautiful and welcome presence wherever she went. She was a standout basketball and softball player, a loving field hockey coach, and a generous giver. She would give you the shirt off her back (but don’t ask for her shoes).
Julie loved music, dance and always bragged that her favorite instrument to play was the stereo. Being with and helping family and friends was always a priority. She could consistently be found on the sidelines or in the audience for all of her nieces, nephews, and children of friends’ sports events or drama and music productions.
Julie made many connections working at Verizon, and after living in Reading for many years, moved back to Danvers in 2020. There, she juggled real estate, working in a law office and caring for her mom with her sister Jeannie. She still made time to help anybody else in need. Julie was an avid Boston sports fan, and you could usually follow her live commentary on Facebook. Julie loved her Birthday, March 11 is a recognized holiday in our family.
She is survived by her sister Jane Shea and her husband Mike, Joanne Fagan, Jeanne Spadorcia, Anthony Spadorcia and his wife Kelleigh, Jill McGinnity and her husband Michael. Nieces, nephews and great nephew Elizabeth Shea, Kathryn Shea, Conor and his wife Lindsey Shea, Bradley, Bronwen and Lochlainn Fagan, Jeffrey and Kayla Fagan, Joseph, Nicholas and Emily Spadorcia, and Megan, Allison and John McGinnity. She also leaves a myriad of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Joan Spadorcia and brother-in-law, Scott Fagan.

I can’t express how sad this has made me feel. Julie was the sun in the darkness. She had the biggest personality that put a smile on everyone’s faces. She will be missed. I know she is up in heaven with your mom and dad and will be the angel on all your shoulders.

We live in Reading and our boys and friends who grew up with Conor Shea fondly called her “Auntie Julie” because she was so special to them as they were to her.
She was an extraordinary person full of life and laughter who will sorely be missed.

I am heartbroken by the sudden passing of Julie. What a wonderful person and my heart breaks for the family. Lots of good times with Julie in the early jr high- high school years. RIP Julie you were one of the greats! 💔
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Julie. I have know her for so many years from day 1 when she moved into Gazebo Circle! She will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!
