Jeanne T. Lynch

Jeanne T. (Poitras) Lynch, 94, of Methuen, formerly of Danvers, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur F. Lynch, who predeceased her in 1997.

Born in Salem on March 8, 1932, Jeanne was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Levesque) Poitras. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a longtime resident of Danvers before moving to Methuen 20 years ago.

Jeanne was employed by Sylvania for several years. She enjoyed spending her winters in Tarpon Springs, Florida, and loved taking trips to the casinos.

Above all, Jeanne treasured her family. She loved bringing everyone together, often hosting family gatherings around her swimming pool. Known for her fun-loving spirit, she was always the life of the party—and more often than not, the last to leave. Jeanne also found great joy in baking, cooking, and caring for her yard.

She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Yeaton of Danvers and Doreen Lotito and her husband, David, of Methuen; her son, Paul Lynch of Danvers; her four beloved grandchildren, Michael Lynch, David Lotito, Richard Yeaton, and Stacy Yeaton; her four cherished great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Michael, Nolan, and Hailey; and many nieces and nephews. The last surviving of ten siblings, Jeanne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was predeceased by a son, Patrick Lynch, and a son-in-law, Donald Yeaton.

Funeral services will be private.
