David A. Cerat, 70, passed away on September 26, 2026 in his home surrounded by friends & family following a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on August 16, 1956, he was the son of Mary Ann (Richardson) Cerat of Danvers and the late Andrew Cerat. He was an exceptional athlete and loved everything hockey. Dave was an amazing father and devoted grandfather who enjoyed attending their activities, especially baseball games, up until his last days.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children, Kori & her spouse Robert, Alex, and Lily, his former wife and partner of 25 years, Melissa Coe, his three grandchildren, Carter, Logan, and Emma, and his siblings, Michael & Suzanne.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private.
