DANVERS- Allison (Curtis) LaCava, 50, passed away on January 2, 2020 in Seasons Hospice House in Milton. Born on December 29, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Lorraine (Hegenberger) Curtis. Allison was raised and educated in Danvers. She enjoyed photography and birdwatching and combined the two frequently. She was also a wonderful artist. She is survived by a daughter, Alex LaCava and her companion, Anthony Matterazzo and a grandson, Anthony Matterazzo, Jr., all of Weymouth and her longtime companion, Carl Eckman of Danvers. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St., Danvers.

  1. It was always a pleasure to see your mom Sunday Mornings during Pop Warner Cheer Season. She always had a great smile and happy to be there demeanor.   4. I send my deepest sympathy to Alex and Carl. I knew Allison through her Mother Lorraine. Her Mother was my good friend and travel buddy. I am sure Allison is now with her Mother and Father in heaven.
