Barry P. Joyce

Barry P. Joyce, 58, died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving and cherished husband of Sabrina L. (Nichols) Joyce. Born in Dorchester on Sept. 6, 1959, he was the son of the late John and Rosemary (Kelly) Joyce. He was a longtime resident of Peabody. Barry was employed at his family’s business, Antiques Co-op in Malden for more than thirty years. He loved going to casinos and playing cards. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people happy. In addition to his loving wife, he leaves a son, Anthony Joyce and his wife Tracy of CT, a step-son, Jonathan Joyce of Peabody, four brothers, Keith Joyce, Kevin Joyce, John Joyce, Jr., and Eric Driscoll, a sister, Deborah Govan and her husband Tony. He was predeceased by a sister, Noreen Govan. His Funeral Service will be Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-10:45AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
