Betty P. Davis

Betty P. “Penny” Davis, 87, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Norman W. Davis. Born in Millidgeville, GA on Sept. 29, 1930, she was raised and educated in Georgia, where she ultimately earned her degree in nursing. She and her late husband raised there family in Ohio, and she was employed for thirty years as a nurse with General Electric. Penny resided in Salem for several years before relocating to Brooksby Village in Peabody. She was a sweet, loving woman who people enjoyed being with and she was dedicated to her family and her career as a nurse. She leaves her children, David G. Davis of CO, Nancy Banks and her husband James of FL, Susan Davis and her husband Paul Hadley of Andover, and Janet Mastro and her husband Vincent of Needham, her grandchildren, Michael, John, Christopher, Samantha, Victoria, and Lucas, and her great-grandchildren, Deanna, Andrew, William, and Kieran. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Turner. Instead of flowers please send donations to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
