Bruce D. Beeman, 69, of Danvers, died Monday, April 22, 2019. He was the loving husband of Jacquelyn H. (Nichols) Beeman, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Peabody on Jan. 22, 1950, he was the son of the late Harold and Elinor (Kuell) Beeman. He was raised and educated mostly in Salem and was a graduate of the Essex Agricultural School. Bruce was employed as a campus police office for forty-two years at the Danvers State Hospital, Hogan Regional Center, and the Fernald State School in Waltham. He loved animals, but his life was dedicated to his cherished grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Fara Andre of Salem, two grandchildren, Jacob and Nina Andre, a sister, Donna Record of New Hampshire, a brother-in-law, Arthur “Butch” Nichols and his wife Gina of Alabama, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sandra Sczechowicz, Brenda Lavoie, and Charles, Gary, and Lincoln Beeman. Visiting hours are Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 3PM-5PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St. Danvers. A Prayer Service will conclude the visitation. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation’s may be made to the Feline Hospital Kitty Fund, 81 Webb St., Salem, MA 01970.
