Carmen Burgos De Roa

DANVERS- Carmen Burgos De Roa, 64, passed away surrounded by her family on March 17, 2021 in Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of Juan Roa with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Born on December 20, 1956 in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Leon Burgos and Mariana De Jesús López. She attended the UASD College in the Dominican Republic and had a long career as an accountant prior to her retirement. Carmen left her home in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States to help care for her growing family. Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In addition to her husband, Leon, she is survived by her children, Guery Roa and his wife Jeannine of Danvers, Lester Roa of NJ and Elvis Roa and his wife, Yeni, four grandchildren, L.J. Roa, Samantha Nolasco, Casandra Roa and Gabriella Roa, her siblings Marianela Burgos, Delsi Burgos, Andres Burgos, Cuchi Burgos, Salvador Burgos, Rosa Burgos, Evangelina Burgos, Raimundo Burgos, Sunilda Burgos, Margarita Burgos, Danilo Burgos, Vicente Burgos and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be held privately. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
