Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My sincere condolences to the family. For 20 years Carrie was a wonderful neighbor and friend, I will remember many front steps chats and will miss her smile and conversation.

  2. Thoughts and prayers to everyone. Lots of good memories with Carrie at Gram Wilde’s house and on West Island.

  3. I am writing this with disbelief and profound sadness over the passing of my dear friend, Carrie. When Carrie joined me on the IV Team at Salem Hospital, we “clicked”, and our friendship grew from there. Carrie was such a kind, caring, thoughtful and generous spirit….to family, friends and patients. The nurses on the various units would say, ‘oh yes…Carrie…she’s so nice”.

She had her struggles, but she also had lots of responsibility. Yet, she put one foot in front of the other and moved long…one day at a time. She helped me during hard times as well. She was someone I could talk to because she understood. I was grateful for that. She was such a good friend, and rarely would we end a conversation without saying “love you!”

We were both into angels. Carrie was an angel to me. She is now one of God’s angels. I’ll still talk to her, but in Heaven.

We recently talked about getting together once a fellow friend returned from vacation. It wasn’t meant to be. I am heartbroken, having hoped our friendship would be for a lifetime.

Carrie will be sorely missed. She was such wonderful friend and will remain forever in my heart, as she will yours. She loved you all and had so much to live for, with the grandkids and all. Oh how I wish she were here.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. I share your tears and pray that, with time, beautiful memories will bring back the joy that has been taken from your heart.
    With sincere and deepest sympathy,
    Donna Soderlund
