Claire E. Hermanson

STONEHAM- Claire Elizabeth (Boyce) Hermanson, 91, passed away on March 14, 2021 in Bear Hill Nursing Home, in Stoneham. She was the wife of the late Eric W. Hermanson.
Born in Malden on September 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara Boyce. She was raised and educated in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. Claire had resided in Melrose for many years. She also spent 15 years in Florida until returning to Danvers in 2006. When Claire was in Florida she enjoyed spending time with her husband, reading books with him and watching her birds on the canal in their backyard.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Winer of Middleton and her two grandchildren, Tayler and Sadie Winer. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles and Randall Boyce.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in North Beverly Cemetery. You took wonderful care of my mother numerous times, which I will always appreciate. And you were so devoted to your mom. I didn’t know her well, but the times I visited her, she struck me as a kind and lovely woman. You have my sympathy on her passing and your devastating loss.
