Constance Marie Cappos, 81, died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her home in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Arthur Cappos. Born in Danvers on Feb. 8, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Cleveland) Flynn. A lifelong Danvers resident, she was a 1957 graduate of Holten High School. Connie was employed for many years as the Activities Director at the former Cedar Glen Nursing Home. She enjoyed crafting, painting, and traveling with her late husband. She leaves her stepsons, Stephen Cappos and his wife Cynthia and Michael Cappos and his wife Margaret, Ellin McSweeney (wife of deceased step-son Nicholas), her step-grandchildren, Lauren, Leah, Drew, Lee, Dylan, and Troy, her step-great-grandchildren, Lielle, Luke, Benjamin, and Alijah, her nephews Michael and Tim Flynn, her extended family, Mohammad and Shahriar Momeni and Kelly Krion, and her special friends Robert LaPorte, Sheila Carpenter, and Charlene & John Mello. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jeffrey P. Johnson, her brother, William Flynn, her step-son Nicholas Cappos, her nephew, Kevin, and her former husband Franklyn Johnson. Her Graveside Service will be Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 at 1PM in Annunciation Cemetery, 155 Hobart St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or the Care Dimensions Family Fund, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
