Costanza Cobuzzi

November 4, 1929 ~ July 29, 2021
DANVERS- Costanza (Ciruolo) Cobuzzi, age 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 29, 2021. “Connie” was the devoted wife of Antonio Cobuzzi, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Panni, Italy on November “the” 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Michelina (Dattoli) Ciruolo. She along with her brother, Sam, immigrated to the U.S. in 1950. Connie’s resilient spirit and hardworking core values paved the way for her siblings, mother, and extended family to come to the U.S. and build a beautiful life in America. Connie was proud of her Italian heritage and culture and was just as proud to be an American citizen.
In 1958, Connie returned to Panni to marry her Tony in what would be a double wedding with her sister Maria and Tony’s brother Rocco. A wedding that is still remembered by many in Panni!
Connie’s home was a central location for all to visit and be fed. She was an amazing cook and took pride in never following a recipe. She enjoyed gardening, bus trips, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Connie was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and her quiet, yet strong faith sustained her.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Tina and Michael Mosho of Boxford and Antonietta and Don Terenzoni of Peabody. She was the cherished Nana to Nick and Kayla, Ben and Kate, and Zack Terenzoni, and Michael, Tiffany, and John Mosho: and was “Big Nana” to 4 great grandchildren. Connie is also survived by her siblings, Sam Ciruolo and his wife Antinetta, Maria Cobuzzi, and Angelina Ciruolo, and a large extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Mike and Joe Ciruolo.
Due to the ongoing pandemic the family requests that all guests wear facial coverings to the services.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
