Dana G. Foye, 78, of Danvers, died late Thursday evening, June 30, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving husband of Shirley M. (Supronovich) Foye, with whom he shared fifty-three years of marriage. Born in Salem on March 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Donald and Nesta (Rabchenuk) Foye. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a 1962 graduate of Peabody High School. Dana served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was stationed in Landstutt, Germany. He also served the City of Peabody as a reserve police officer. Dana owned and operated AA Plastic & Metal Fabricators in Danvers. A Danvers resident for nearly fifty years, he was a past president of both Danvers American Little League and Danvers Babe Ruth Baseball, which he worked to reestablish and reinvigorate. He was a former Scoutmaster of Troop 58. He had also been active in the Danvers Lions Club and the Touchdown Club, an officer of the Catholic Couples Club, a member of Polish Club, and was Town Meeting Member for many years. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Dana Foye and his wife Heather of Amesbury and David Foye and his wife Leanne of Fitzwilliam, NH, two cherished granddaughters, Molly and Annie Foye Amesbury, a sister, Paula Wright of Seabrook, a brother, Charles Foye and his companion Cindy Cummings of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11AM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Dana’s memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.   5. Shirl, I am also saddened to hear of Dana passing on. Dad spoke often of working for Dana and living in the various MA places and I believe he and Dana are having a blast now with Aunt Nestea and Shirley, God blessed us all!

  7. So sorry to read that Dana passed away. We where friends from the 6th to 8th grades at the Center School & all four years at Peabody High School. After high school we went our separate ways, but I always considered him a friend.
