DANVERS- Debra J. Compas, 61, passed away on December 10, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She was the life partner of Di Poulin with whom she spent 30 years together. Born in Cambridge on January 11, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Compas and Dorothy Ricci. Deb was raised and educated in Danvers. She graduated from Danvers High School, where she was a star athlete. That earned her a spot in the Danvers Blue and White Club Hall of Fame. Deb loved animals and especially enjoyed her cats. She is survived by her siblings, Diane Barrows-Ross and her husband, Dana Ross of Danvers, Marie Rogerson of Carver, Chris Compas and his wife Jane of NH, Nick Compas, Susan Compas of NH and Linda Nardella of NH, her step-mother, Mary Gilikson of NH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Alexander Compas, Jr. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers.

Debbie, you were my 1st BFF….We met at 14yrs old and had the best time through our teen years….We shared all of our dreams, love for sports, crazy music, girl talk, school and especially our love for David Cassidy….To be able to still communicate with you through Facebook, it felt like we were sitting in the same room….You have no idea how much I will miss you….I am thankful that you no longer suffer, and once again you are whole….I will always love you Knucklehead Jones……. your bff Val 💖💕👭
