Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Don and Mary, a cousin of Gary Manning (1950-2019) were excellent hosts when we visited them several years ago. They insisted on taking us sightseeing, treating us out for lunches and dinners and making us a wonderful lobster dinner served in their home. I had met them years before this when they visited Bea and Mike Manning in their home in Oshawa, Ontario. What a wonderful, kind, caring and gracious couple they were. Don, rest in peace and thanks for the memories. Pamela Kullo, (Whitby, Ontario)

  2. Thinking of all the MacDonald family today as you gather to say goodbye to your Dad. So many wonderful memories of he and Mary along with Don and Marie. He came to the Ross family reunion , in Saint John ,two or 3 times. So much fun ! Also came to Nova Scotia to visit Doug and I. Don was always happy just to be going and altho’ it wasn’t his vehicle and he didn’t drive, he made it a point to say he paid for the gas! Doug and I will miss our visits to his home in Danvers- always happy to see us. We always bought donuts and muffins from Congdons up in Wells ,Maine. He sure loved them!! Don, you left us with so many memories and now it’s time to fly high. A special man with a special family and you will be missed.
