Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Libby & Roy were such a part of my childhood on Lobao Drive. They gave out the full size candy bars on Halloween and were the only grown-ups that we could call by their first names. I remember Libby playing the organ, and driving around town in that flashy red Corvette. I can still picture Roy standing out in his front yard with the hose, being the perfect 1970’s suburban dad, waving and smiling at every car that went by. And their dogs: Reggie, Ogden, who else? Libby would walk them around the neighborhood every night, she was a part of what made the neighborhood a great place to be a kid.

I stopped by to visit after not seeing her for about 30 years and she just said “Hi! Good to see you again!” with no surprise, no guessing who I was, it was if I still lived across the street.
Nothing but good memories of Libby & Roy.
